The Reverend Dr. Tracie A. Quarles Daniels is a charismatic, faithful and loving pastor, preacher, teacher, and servant of God. She has led the congregation of St. Mark Baptist Church since November of 2018 and is the first female elected to serve as Pastor in the history of the church. Prior to her service at St. Mark, Dr. Daniels served as the senior Pastor of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Ivy, VA for 12 years and was also the first female to serve.
Dr. Daniels is a graduate of Mary Baldwin University (BA), George Mason University (MA), Virginia Union University (M.Div), and has an earned PhD from Walden University.
Dr. Daniels currently serves as President of the Division of Clergy of Tuckahoe Baptist Association. She is past Christian Education Director of the Piedmont Baptist Association and Past Vice President of the African American Pastors Council of Charlottesville. Dr. Daniels also holds memberships with the Association of African American Clergy Women of Richmond, Virginia, the Ministers Conference of Goochland and Vicinity, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Richmond Alumnae Chapter. An educator by trade, Dr. Daniels has held numerous positions within public education and numerous memberships in educational organizations.
Dr. Daniels is married to Deacon Wilbur L. Daniels, and they are blessed with four children, one daughter in love, and three grandchildren. With humility and dedication to the body of Christ, Dr. Daniels loves to proclaim the Gospel in a transformative way so that all mankind will grow in grace and walk by faith.
